Kayla McComb
Ph.D. Student

Kayla is a Ph.D. student who studies musical and linguistic development. She is particularly interested in how environmental musical experience impacts infant vocalizations. Outside of the lab, Kayla enjoys playing with her puppy, cooking, and writing and listening to music.

Moriyah Brown
Undergraduate Student

Moriyah is an undergraduate student double majoring in Psychology and Music. Moriyah enjoys studying music and its relation to mental health. After college, she plans on attending grad school to become a child/adolescent psychologist. In her free time, Moriyah is part of UO’s running club and enjoys reading, making music, and spending time outdoors.

Immie Burstein
Post-undergraduate Student

Immie is a University of Oregon graduate who majored in Neuroscience. She has experience with cognitive neuroscience research and is excited to learn about linguistic development research. Immie hopes to attend graduate school for clinical psychology. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, painting, and playing trivia with friends.

Ian is an undergraduate student majoring in Psychology. He plans on attending graduate school on the path to becoming a clinical psychologist. In his free time, Ian loves to listen to music, read, and build puzzles.

Isabelle Lowe
Undergraduate Student

Isabelle is an undergraduate student majoring in Psychology. She hopes to attend grad school and become a clinical psychologist. In her free time, Isabelle enjoys reading, crocheting, and running.

Sadie is an undergraduate student majoring in Psychology and minoring in Special Education. Sadie enjoys spending her free time outside, reading, and singing.

Andrew McQueen
Project Manager

Andrew is a UO graduate double majoring in Psychology and Economics. Other than pursuing research in psychology, Andrew enjoys reading fiction and hiking with his two children.

Kayley Quach
Undergraduate Student

Kayley is an undergraduate student majoring in Psychology with a minor in Special Education. She aspires to earn a Master’s degree and pursue a career as a Child Psychologist. In her free time, Kayley enjoys spending quality time with friends, reading, traveling, and watching movies.

Nally Serrano
Undergraduate Student

Nally is a Human Physiology major with a Chemistry minor at the University of Oregon. She is originally from Sacramento, California and is a proud fan of the Sacramento Kings. One of her greatest joys is baking and cooking for others. Beyond the kitchen, Nally is passionate about her studies and aspires to combine her love for science and care for others by pursuing a career in the medical field.

Alex Verduzco
Undergraduate Student

Alex is an undergraduate student majoring in Psychology. She hopes to earn a master’s degree in either psychology or speech pathology in the future. In her free time, Alex enjoys going to concerts, painting, and sewing.
